Privacy Policy
Last updated October 22, 2026
This policy explains what information PostalPath (“PostalPath”) collects through postalpath.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, mobile number, ZIP code, job preferences, eligibility answers, and practice-question answers and scores.
- Purchase information: your payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the purchase and limited details such as the card type and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
- Hired Reward submissions: the photo, job details and story you choose to send us.
- Usage information: pages visited, your IP address and approximate location, device and browser type, and how you use the dashboard, collected through cookies and similar technologies. We use this to understand how the site is used and to prevent fraud and abuse.
If you enter your email at checkout and don’t finish, we keep that address (and your first name, if you typed it) for up to 30 days so we can send you one reminder to pick up where you left off. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Card details are never stored this way.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: your account, practice exams, score reports, guides and weekly job-search reminders.
- To send emails about your account and purchase, and, if you agree, tips and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To send text messages only if you opted in (see below).
- To process refunds and Hired Reward claims, prevent fraud, and improve the Service.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use postalpath.com (for example, which pages and ads bring visitors and how many complete a purchase). Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and the ad campaign that brought you. We don’t send Google your name, email address, phone number or answers, and we don’t use Google Analytics advertising features. Learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the box to receive texts, we use your mobile number to send reminders to check postal job postings, plus tips and offers. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run PostalPath, such as website hosting, database, email and text-message delivery, payment processing and analytics, and only as needed to provide their services to us; or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and fraud-prevention purposes. If you never purchase, we delete lead information after 24 months of inactivity.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your information through our contact page. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights; we honor them for all users.
Children
PostalPath is intended for adults and job applicants 16 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login link private.
